| See Cobá... |
|
Cobá is developing as a tourist destination. The ruins offer a unique perspective on the Maya natural and social world. The vegetation is lush and for those unused to the hot tropical climate, there is adequate shade and water to buy at the entrance to the ruins and at the site of the large pyramid of Nohoch Mul. It is recommended that tourists carry sufficient water and insect repellent to enjoy the ruins with comfort.
There are good local restaurants in Cobá and tourism shops that offer very good prices. Please bargain at the shops and support the local store owners.
