Turning a Village Around

The village of Cobá is desperately poor and under development. The community suffers from poverty and inadequate food resources, limited and relatively costly educational opportunities for children, lack of economic opportunities for women, limited health facilities, limited clean water, and a lack of work opportunities.

Your donation will make it possible to (1) strengthen production in household kitchen gardens, (2) dramatically increase the numbers of productive fruit trees, (3) expand the numbers of chickens, a major protein source, and (4) supply materials for the construction of adequate block housing in the village, as well as other initiatives.
